It’s fun to write about your travels!
You can totally write a journal when you get back home, but let me tell you, writing regularly while you're still in the thick of it brings a whole new level of inspiration. It helps you go beyond the usual "great" and "beautiful" descriptions and really capture what it was that got your heart racing. That way, you can lock in those special moments and keep them alive forever. When I'm exploring a new place, I like to take a few minutes in a cafe, over a drink, or unwinding back at our hotel or vacation rental to jot things down. I also often bring a small notebook that fits in my pocket or purse to scribble down my thoughts. I find these notes to be great inspiration for creating pages in my journal later on. or you can grab this Artisan Travel Journal I want my travel journals to burst with color, creativity, and joy as I flip through their pages. While it's important to record my memories, I don't want to spend all my travel time jotting down mundane facts and figures. When I open my journal months or even years later, I want to be transported back to the emotions and sensations of each place and experience. I want to feel like I'm right there again, rather than simply reading about it. Yours In Flight Brandi

I hate being hot--- especially on vacation! What about you?
It can be exhausting right?? miserable, and sometimes even dangerous. One thing I always have with me during my travels is a travel fan! I had no idea these existed until I was looking for ponchos before our last trip to Europe and right there in the camping section was one of these bad boys: Portable fan. You can also find these online, if that is more up your alley: Portable Neck Fan For your next adventure, make sure to grab one-- or three! you won't regret it! Yours In Flight Brandi |
