My trip to Italy was fantastic! I got to see incredible ancient monuments and world-famous art, but I know I barely scratched the surface of what Italy has to offer. I struggled a bit with the language barrier, as my Italian skills were limited to buying tickets and basic interactions. Next time, I'm planning to be better prepared by studying and learning an Italian phrase book at least a month before my flight. That way, I can engage in friendly conversations with the locals and dive deeper into the rich Italian culture.
Deciding to learn the local language before embarking on any trip is truly a game-changer. Even mastering a few basic phrases can completely transform the way I communicate and experience travel. It adds a layer of richness and subtlety to my journey, making it all the more unforgettable, while also opening up a world of new possibilities and opportunities. This is the one I usually suggest to clients (and myself) Italian Phrasebook For Travel Do you plan to learn the local language to prepare for your next trip?! Yours In Flight, Brandi |
